LabMasster is a Belgian company with an international presence.

We provide services on analytical instruments (maintenance, calibration, repairs, installations, training, ...) to various laboratories, with a core focus on chromatography and mass spectrometry. We operate cross-brand and independently of equipment manufacturers. Our client base includes laboratories from a wide range of sectors (toxicology, research institutions, forensic analysis, pharmaceutical industry, food safety, ...) primarily located in the BeNeLux region. However, we are also active in other countries in the EMEA Region, as well as Central and South America.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced and/or eager-to-learn candidate to join us as a Field Service Engineer, initially focused on strengthening our team in Belgium.

​

Job Description:

​

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing chromatography and mass spectrometry systems at customer sites or via remote support. You will serve as a point of contact for technical support and build strong relationships with our customers. After each intervention, you will provide clear reporting and accurate follow-up.

​

Key Responsibilities:

​

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on-site.

  • Provide technical support to customers with questions or issues.

  • Deliver training to customers on the correct use of equipment.

  • Ensure accurate reporting and follow-up administration.

​

What We’re Looking For:

​

  • A completed degree in a relevant field (Professional/Academic Bachelor or Master in Industrial Sciences and Technology, (Bio)Chemistry, Electromechanics, Electronics-ICT, ...) or equivalent through experience.

  • Previous relevant work experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Prior hands-on experience with chromatography and/or mass spectrometry systems is an advantage, but not a requirement.

  • Willingness and ability to rapidly acquire technical knowledge is essential.

  • Strong command of Dutch and English (spoken and written). Knowledge of other languages like French, Spanish, or German is a bonus.

  • A positive, flexible, and customer-focused mindset, with good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking, paired with technical aptitude.

  • Ability to set priorities, and work independently as well as in a team.

  • Willingness to travel and work at various locations within and outside Europe (always in consultation with you and the team’s availability).
